As we continue to celebrate the opening of the Oulton-Stanish Centre, let’s reflect on a milestone moment that marked the beginning of a new era for our hockey programs. Just weeks ahead of the official opening, the Tigers men’s and women’s hockey teams got an early look at the state-of-the-art facility - a moment filled with excitement, pride, and anticipation for what lies ahead. “This was a special moment for our student-athletes,” said Athletic Director Cindy Tye. “To see their reactions as they experienced the facility for the first time really brought to life what this space represents - an investment in their experience and in the future of Tigers hockey.” From modernized locker rooms to a high-performance ice surface, the Oulton-Stanish Centre has been designed to support excellence at every level. The facility will serve as a hub for training, competition, and community engagement, strengthening the connection between student-athletes, fans, and the broader community.
