The Dalhousie Tigers fell to the UPEI Panthers on Saturday afternoon 4-3 after holding a two goal lead.
Kenzie MacPhee and Elizabeth MacArthur both scored late in the first period giving the Tigers a 2-0 lead heading into the dressing room after one.
UPEI managed to get on the board first in the second period as Alyssa Ferguson scored on the power play. Jesse Rietveld wasted no time restoring the two goal lead for the Tigers scoring 29 seconds later.
The Panthers went on to control the remainder of the game scoring three unanswered goals to top the Tigers 4-3.
Mati Barrett turned aside 17 of the 21 shots she faced in the game.
The Tigers are back in action tomorrow afternoon against UdeM Aigles Bleues at 2:30pm.
