Bio
Maxwell Joy joined the Dalhousie Tigers women’s hockey coaching staff in 2024. Originally from Iqaluit, Nunavut, he is deeply invested in coaching and player development. He is currently the head coach of Hockey Nunavut’s U19 women’s team and has been actively involved in the territory’s high-performance program, coaching at both the Arctic Winter Games and Canada Winter Games. Maxwell is also the founder of Nunavut Fury, a program created to expand development and competitive opportunities for women's hockey players across Nunavut. He is currently studying Recreation Management at Dalhousie University.
