Tigers add Dobbin for 2025-26
Tigers women’s basketball head coach Tanya McKay is pleased to announce the commitment of Maci Dobbin for the 2025-26 season.
Dalhousie Tigers women’s basketball head coach Tanya McKay is pleased to announce the commitment of Maci Dobbin for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, the point guard plays for Citadel High School. She also represented Basketball Nova Scotia, winning silver with the U15 provincial team at the Canada Basketball national championship and competing again at the provincial level in 2023.
“I am extremely excited to be playing for Dal next year,” says Dobbin. “I’m looking forward to pushing myself, learning from my teammates, and meeting new people. This team has a ton of protentional, and I am looking forward to contributing to that.”
An honour roll student throughout high school, Dobbin will be studying health promotion at Dalhousie.

The Tigers finished the 2024-25 season with a 2-18 record, outside of a playoff position.
