Tigers drop senior night game 92-72 to Axewomen

(Halifax, NS) – In their final home game of the season, the Dalhousie Tigers faced off against the Acadia Axewomen in Saturday night action. Acadia pushed the pace throughout the game and used their transition to get an early lead and hold on to it. The Axewomen came away with the 92-72 win.

In AUS women’s basketball action at the Dalplex, the Cape Breton Capers defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 61-48 in a game where the Capers successfully navigated ebbs and flows in scoring to get the win.

Tigers complete 59-57 comeback over Varsity Reds

(Halifax, NS) – In their second four-point game of the weekend, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the UNB Varsity Reds at the Dalplex. After getting down early in the first quarter, the Tigers put together an incredible defensive fourth quarter to spark the 59-57 comeback victory.

Tigers earn 85-68 victory over Varsity Reds

(Halifax, NS) – In their first matchup of the season, the Dalhousie Tigers took on the UNB Varsity Reds in a key four-point game in front of a near capacity crowd at the Dalplex. The Tigers inside game opened up a third quarter run that proved to be too much for UNB to come back from, and the Tigers took the 85-68 victory.

Tigers drop four-point game to Panthers 84-69

(Halifax, NS) – Facing off in an important four-point game, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the UPEI Panthers at the Dalplex on Friday. Playing shutdown defence and forcing turnovers in the second quarter allowed the Panthers to go on a 10-0 run and take control of the game. The Panthers walked away with the 84-69 victory.

Sea-Hawks split weekend series with 76-65 win over Tigers

(Halifax, NS) – In game two of a back to back set, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Memorial Sea-Hawks in Saturday afternoon action. In a very physical contest, a strong defensive second quarter pushed the Sea-Hawks in front and they were able to hang on to claim the 76-65 win.

Hickman gets double-double in 60-53 win over Sea-Hawks

(Halifax, NS) – In the first day of a back to back set, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Memorial Sea-Hawks Friday evening at the Dalplex. After a tight first half, the Tigers put together a run in the third quarter that they were able to hold on to as they took the 60-53 victory.

(Halifax, NS) – In the second game of a home-and-home series, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the number 2 ranked Acadia Axewomen in women’s basketball action. The Axewomen put on a strong shooting display that gave them an early lead, and they didn’t look back as they took this one 88-49.
