This week's Throwback Thursday features the 2006-07 women's track and field team
The men's and women's track and field teams are in Moncton, competing at the AUS championships this weekend!
High jumper Rebecca Haworth will be headed to the FISU Games in Gwangju, Korea - July 3-14, 2015, as part of Canada's athletics team!
It was another year, and another championship for a Tigers team that has now won the AUS championship for 26 straight years. They were dominant all season, and their confidence appears to be at an all-time high.
High jumper Rebecca Haworth grabbed silver in the high jump, while Jordan Bruce and Chas Smith claimed silver and bronze in the triple jump on the last day of the CIS championships.
Second-year jumper Devin Errington claimed bronze in the high jump on day two of the CIS track and field championships at the University of Windsor.
In the first day of competition, Chantelle Robbertse & Jessica Shannon scored some impressive results in the indoor pentathlon. Robbertse won the 800m run portion of the event.

The track and field teams had a successful weekend at the Canada Games Centre, competing at the Saint Mary’s Open on Saturday and the AUS Relays on Sunday.
The Tigers faced tough competition at the McGill Challenge this weekend and had both teams finish in the top five.
Former Tigers cross country star Richard Munro and multisport athlete Dr. Cathy Campbell have been selected to the 2014 Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame Induction class.
