Tigers add Hatch for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers head swim coach Lance Cansdale is pleased to announce the commitment of Olivia Hatch for the 2025-26 season
Hailing from Airdrie, Alberta, Hatch swam with the Calgary based club Killarney Swim Club for the last three years. She has attended the 2025 Bell Trials, multiple Alberta championship meets and a western championship.
“I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to represent Dalhousie in varsity swimming.” Says Hatch. “I can’t wait to start training with the team and working with the coaches to see what opportunities arise from these next steps in my athletic career.”
The honour roll student will be studying political science at Dalhousie.
“Olivia will be a great addition to our Free and Breast sprints.” Says Cansdale. “As well as our relay depth. It will be exciting to see what Olivia can do when she gets here to DAL!”
The swim team claimed their 23rd AUS championship in a row for a total of 37 this past season.
