Dalhousie Tigers men’s soccer head coach Alan Jazic is pleased to announce the commitment of Michael Allt for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from Bedford, Nova Scotia, Allt is a member of the Suburban Football Club U17 team that won the 2025 Toyota Canada Soccer National Championship in October. At the championship, he was named the championship MVP and a first team all-star.
A midfielder, Allt was a member of Team Nova Scotia at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St John’s, Newfoundland that placed fourth. As a part of the Halifax Wanderers Football Club Academy, he featured in the International Summer Series versus Wrexham A.F.C. in July 2025. He has also earned four trials with the Vancouver Whitecaps MLS Next program in 2023 and 2024.
“I am super excited to come to Dalhousie and play for the Tigers,” says Allt. “It feels like the perfect place for me to grow as both a student and an athlete. I’m more than ready to get straight to work and make as much of an impact as I can.
Allt is currently on the Principal’s List at Charles P. Allen High School and earned high honours in grade eleven. He will be studying commerce at Dalhousie.
“I’m very happy to welcome Michael to our program,” says Jazic. “He’s a gifted, technically sharp player with a tremendous soccer IQ, and he brings a quiet competitiveness that keeps him calm and composed under pressure. Michael sees the final pass, arrives with purpose from the midfield, and consistently contributes with timely goals. Coming from a National Championship–winning Suburban program and having played an integral role with the Nova Scotia Canada Games Men’s Soccer Team, he arrives with a winning pedigree. More importantly, Michael wanted to be a Dalhousie Tiger, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him into our program for the next 4-5 years.”
The men’s soccer team won their 14th AUS conference title in October, defeating Cape Breton 3-2 in the final.
