Gallaway Commits to Tigers for 2026-27 season.
Dalhousie Tigers men's soccer head coach Alan Jazic is pleased to announce the commitment of Cameron Gallaway for the 2026-27 season.
Hailing from Ottawa, 6'3" left-footed defender Cameron Gallaway is the Tigers' newest addition, bringing a strong technical ability, physical presence, and a highly competitive mindset to the men's soccer program.
Gallaway most recently competed with Ottawa South United (OSU), where he helped lead his team to the U19 Coupe d'Espoir Quebec Provincial Championship in 2025 and the U17 OPDL Charity Shield Championship in 2024. During the 2023 season, he also helped OSU secure a second-place finish at the Top-Rated Showcase, along with a third-place finish in the OPDL.
Head coach Alan Jazic shared his excitement about his team's newest recruit.
"I'm really excited to welcome Cameron to the Tiger Family. Cameron attended a Dalhousie Player I.D. camp two years ago and I was really impressed. That opportunity allowed me to follow him and stay connected with him since.
Cameron comes from a great club at OSU. He's a technically gifted player with great size, a wonderful left foot, and he plays with a high IQ. Defensively, he is very aggressive, competitive, and positionally sound. In transition, he has a great engine to get up and down the pitch and is dynamic in 1v1 situations.
I'm really looking forward to working with Cameron over the next 4–5 years."
Jazic also mentioned how Gallway has the ability to play multiple positions, including left centreback, fullback, and winger.
Gallaway also shared his excitement about joining the Black & Gold this fall.
"Dalhousie has one of Canada's best commerce programs and combined with Dal's success on the field it was an easy choice for me! I can't wait to play under the guidance of Coach Jazic and see what soccer in the AUS is all about."
Off the pitch, Gallaway is an honor roll student and a recipient of the Character Award. In the fall, he will be studying commerce.
The defending AUS champions continue to build toward success on both the AUS and national stage.
