(Halifax, NS) – The championship game of the Shoveller Memorial Invitational Basketball Tournament showcased the StFX X-Men taking on the host Dalhousie Tigers. After getting outscored in the first three quarters, the Tigers rallied with a 23-6 point effort in the fourth to earn the 73-65 comeback win in a fantastic game.

(Halifax, NS) – In the second semi-final matchup of the Shoveller Memorial Invitational Basketball Tournament, the host Dalhousie Tigers were taking on the UNBC Timberwolves. After finishing the first three quarters with neither team able to gain an edge, the Tigers put together a run in the fourth quarter and held on to take the 91-86 victory.

With a strong shooting performance to start the game, the Tigers were able to jump to a quick lead that the Lakers were never able to make up, as the Tigers came away with the 82-56 victory in their final preseason game.
