Being a Black student-athlete at Dal means representing excellence on and off the court, while carrying my culture and pride as a black male. It motivates me set a standard for those younger than me.
Who inspires you as a Black athlete or leader, past or present? And why?
LeBron James inspires me because he's how to dominate at the highest level, while using his name and platform to uplift his community and create long lasting impact beyond sports.
What message or advice would you share with the next generation of Black athletes?
Believe in yourself, even when the system doubts and is against you. Use your voice, stay disciplined, and understand that your presence can inspire change.
