Cara MacDonald

Third year middle distance runner, Cara MacDonald, delivered an exceptional performance at the U SPORTS Track and Field Championships this past weekend, breaking a 31-year-old Dalhousie Tigers record with a preliminary time of 1:30.57 in the 600m. She followed it up with an outstanding finals race, earning the silver medal with an even faster time of 1:29.87.

A New Glasgow native, Cara’s record-breaking run and podium finish highlight an incredible weekend competing against the nation’s best.

Lukas Rudaitis

An endurance runner hailing from Mississauga, ON, Rudaitis captured a bronze medal in the 1000m at the U SPORTS Track and Field Championships in Winnipeg over the weekend, delivering a strong performance on the national stage.

Competing against the country’s top university athletes in his final race with the Tigers, he ran with determination and secured a place on the podium. His achievement highlights both his hard work throughout the season and his ability to perform under pressure.
